Providing Experienced Counsel in Adoption and Guardianship Matters
We handle all matters related to contested or uncontested adoption proceedings, preparing and filing all documentation required to complete the process, and acting as your advocate for birth parents, adoption agencies and the courts. We focus our adoption practice on stepparent adoptions or family member adoptions, handling adoptions at any age, from infants to teenagers, to adults. We also work with clients who may initially seek to adopt a child but pursue a guardianship because, under the circumstances, adoption is not possible. We are happy to work with military personnel stationed at Tinker Air Force Base.
In Oklahoma, if you have not been married for a full year, you may be required to complete a home study. We can help you prepare for this part of the process and address any issues or concerns relating to or arising out of the home study.
In guardianship proceedings, we have helped people of all ages put in place the legal protections necessary for children of all ages while addressing the financial, emotional and any other needs of the child. If you are in a situation where you know a child needing protection, whether from emotional abuse, neglect, physical abuse, drug or alcohol problems, or other issues, a guardianship may be the best option for you to that child.
Our primary goal in all adoption and guardianship matters is to protect the children. We know how difficult it can be when parents are either absent or unable to provide care and aim to make the process as easy as possible for the children involved.

Our office is located just south of 33rd Street off S. Boulevard in Edmond, in the Stonebridge Office Complex. We charge reasonable fees and take Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
